Settle into a private self-catering space on the Lowestoft coast, with free Wi-Fi, parking outside and your own kitchen. Whether you’re here for one night or two weeks, Crown Cove House gives you space to make yourself at home between working days.
Longer stays and regular return visits are welcome by arrangement.
Working offshore or around Lowestoft?
If you’re visiting for offshore, wind-energy, marine or other local work, the space offers a private base before or between working days. You have your own entrance and no shared guest areas, with us nearby if you need help.
Tell us which port, operating base or workplace you need to reach so we can help you assess the location for your visit.
Visiting for the Sizewell project?
We welcome enquiries from people working on or visiting the Sizewell project. The space is in Lowestoft, so please check the commute and any employer transport arrangements for your particular site before booking.
Tell us your dates, workplace and expected length of stay. We can discuss availability for a short assignment, a longer visit or repeat bookings.

Free Wi-Fi
We work from home ourselves and understand the importance of a reliable connection. Wi-Fi is included in your stay.
Parking outside
There is free on-street parking at the front, and private rear parking can be arranged in advance. If you’re bringing a large work vehicle, let us know so we can discuss the parking arrangements and whether it will fit.
Your own kitchen
Prepare breakfast before you leave, make a meal when you return or keep things simple with something from a local takeaway.
EV charging
Charging is available by arrangement at £10 per charge. Please tell us in advance if you’d like to use it.
Laundry for longer visits
For stays of more than a week, we can discuss laundry at £5 per load. There are also laundrettes nearby in Kirkley Village.
Invoices and cleaning
We can provide invoices, and cleaning during longer bookings can be arranged. We’ll agree the arrangements and any additional charge with you beforehand.
A setup suited to individual working visitors
The main room has a double pull-down bed, which you can leave down throughout your stay. There is no separate bedroom. It’s best suited to one working visitor, or a couple staying together. We don’t accept group bookings.
Working unusual hours?
Standard check-in is from 2pm and checkout is by 11am. If you need a different arrival or departure time, or expect to sleep during the day, speak to us before booking.
We’ll accommodate requests where we can, depending on the dates and other arrangements.
